Derek Stafford taught David Hockney to paint at the Bradford School of art at the end of the 1950s and was instrumental in him going to the RCA at the beginning of the 1960s. This exhibition looks at Derek Stafford, also an RCA luminary and his work, allowing us to see how his career progressed from an exquisite young draughtsman to competent painter with work from the 1940s to the early 2000s.
